74UNGA: Opening of diplomatic relations with Ghana and North Macedonia

On 26 September, during the general debate of the 74th session of the General Assembly, Mr. Gilles TONELLI, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Principality of Monaco, signed a joint communiqué with Mrs. Shirley AYORKOR BOTCHWEY, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, to open diplomatic relations.

The Republic of Ghana, an institutionally stable democratic State with a prominent position in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), has become the 147th country to establish diplomatic relations with the Principality of Monaco.

Later, Mr. TONELLI also met with Nikola DIMITROV, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, to sign a joint communiqué opening diplomatic relations between the two countries.
