Appointment of a new Deputy Permanent Representative to the Mission of Monaco

The Permanent Mission is delighted to welcome back Ms Daphné LE SON, 16 years after her internship. She took office as Deputy Permanent Representative on July 5, 2022.

After her appointment to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in 2006, Ms LE SON pursued her diplomatic career within the Permanent Delegation of the Principality of Monaco to UNESCO (2010-2012), and then at the Embassy of Monaco in France (2012-2015) where, alongside her bilateral activities, she was a delegate at La Francophonie.

From 2015 to 2022 she assumed her duties within the Mission of Monaco to the European Union as part of the negotiations for an association agreement between the Principality and the European Union.
