HCUND – Conference "Ageless Aging" with Dr. Karen Burke

On October 30, 2018, the Permanent Mission of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations, in partnership with the Hospitality Committee for United Nations Delegations (HCUND), hosted a presentation by Dr. Karen Burke, dermatologist and affiliated professor at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, on "Ageless aging: introducing Ways to Attain Younger and Healthier Skin at Any Age".
With a doctorate in biophysics, Dr. Burke leads her career as a dermatologist and researcher, especially on the role of antioxidants in the prevention and treatment of skin cancers.
About 50 members of the United Nations diplomatic community took part in this event, which, as stated by H.E. Mrs Isabelle Picco in her introduction, linked three sustainable development objectives: health and well-being (SDG 3) quality education (SDG 4) and gender equality (SDG5).
A member of the Hospitality Committee, Dr. Burke is also active in the international recognition of femicide.
